What cameras can be added to Wi-Fi NVR?

Except for battery-powered cameras, all Reolink cameras can be connected to Wi-Fi NVR. (Those that are too old, such as hardware number 3816, will not be considered.)

Can the Wi-Fi cameras in the Wi-Fi NVR Kit be used alone?

Yes, it can, but can only be used in the same/local network. But during use, the camera may restart and disconnect from the NVR. It’s not recommended to connect the camera to their own Wi-Fi.

Can the Wi-Fi NVR provide power to PoE IP cameras？

No, a Wi-Fi NVR typically cannot provide power to PoE IP cameras directly. PoE (Power over Ethernet) requires a wired connection. To power PoE IP cameras, We recommend purchasing Reolink PoE switch or injector in addition to the Wi-Fi NVR.

I want to buy the B800W camera alone. How can I buy it?

You can purchase RLC-810WA, the stand-alone version of B800W. The main difference is that B800W lacks an SD card slot, and UID, and has limited standalone functions. We also recommend other Wi-Fi models like RLC-410W, RLC-510WA, etc.

If the Wi-Fi NVR is disconnected from the router, will it affect the connection of the B800W camera itself?

No, it won’t. The Wi-Fi NVR functions as a router, providing Wi-Fi to the camera. Even without linking to the router, the B800W camera operates on the monitor. However, if the Wi-Fi NVR isn’t connected to the router, the App and Client can’t connect.
