Founders Matt and Monica with their 3 little ones

Matt and Monica started THEO’s because although they desperately tried to embrace the mess, they cringed every time yogurt spills and messy crumbs fell to the ground. Seeking disposable eco-conscious products to make BLW mealtime easier, they decided to make their own. Now they want to share their products to help other parents feel a little less stressed and a lot more present. Read along to learn more about their story….

THEO’s began out of the need for a clean floor when Theo began spilling food and our recently passed pup wasn’t there to lick it up.

Monica didn’t want to deal with washing or wiping a splat mat, so Matt got to work on making a disposable one.

Matt made an affordable, eco-safe disposable splat mat, and the rest is history! THEO’s has since grown into a full line of products.

Sustainable & Effective

CREATED WITH INTENTION: After extensive testing in our own kitchen with our son, we finalized our mat design to cover the floor in front and to the sides of the high chair, as that’s where the food always ended up. Leaving the back of the highchair open not only reduces waste, but it makes using our mats in a crowded restaurant easy, while keeping walking paths clear.
DIAPER BAG FRIENDLY: Each 47” x 29” mat comes individually folded in size 5″ x 8″ so you can always have a few on hand in your diaper bag or car to avoid cleaning the floor at restaurants or family and friends’ homes.
ECO-FRIENDLY: THEO’S disposable floor mats for babies food and messes are made from sustainably sourced paper and are biodegradable and compostable.
MINIMAL DESIGN: Nobody wants an ugly floor mat sitting on the ground, and kid-themed patterns or characters aren’t exactly for every mom’s kitchen or dining room. We prefer a minimal pattern and neutral color theme, so our disposable mats are easy on the eyes and seamlessly blend in with any design aesthetic.
